"Sailing to Beyond" This is a model ship that I got from a gift shop in Siesta Key, FL. It is very detailed and well-made, which is why it's lasted me for the past 8 or so years. I like this object because it reminds me of my grandparents, who bought it for me, and it reminds me of the warm weather. A struggle I had when taking this photo was fitting the whole ship in the frame because it is fairly large.
"Hoist the Sails" (Mosaic)
"For Three" This is a basketball that I got from a friend a few years ago. I use it to shoot around on the little basketball hoop I have in my room. A struggle I had when shooting this photo was to make it interesting, since it is just a ball, and also it kept rolling around, so that was a little difficult.
"Morning B-ball" (Mezzotint)
"Wheelie" This is a lego figure that is riding a motorcycle. I have a lot of legos and I played with them a lot when I was younger, so this is a good picture to represent me. A triumph I had when taking this photo was that I wanted it to be doing a wheelie, so I started the motorcycle in an upright position, then dropped it and took the photo at the perfect time to make it seem as if he's doing a wheelie.
"Riding Away" (Color halftone)
"Four Specs" These are my glasses that block blue light so that I can look at a screen and it won't harm my eyes. I thought this was an interesting photo because of the reflection the glasses made on the ground. A triumph I had when taking this group of photos was all of the different positions I could put the glasses in to make interesting pictures.
"Done for the Day" (Crystalize)
"Aged" This is a rock that I found in my backyard a couple years ago and I thought it was interesting so I put it into the rock tumbler that I recently got as a gift,(which polishes rocks) and it turned out really cool. A triumph I had when taking this photo was that the sun really shined through the rock and made it bright.
