(Normal edit) "Pointing to the sky" I took this photo while I was walking on my way home from school in one of my neighbor's front yard. I liked how the trees contrasted against the bright blue sky. One struggle I had was not getting the house in the photo because the house was kind of right behind this tree.
(Oil painting) "Fluid pines"
(Normal edit) "Spring bloom" I took these photos in my front yard around 9 in the morning. They looked very bright and had a lot of nice color in them, so I decided to photograph them. I hope that this photo conveys happiness and readiness for the cold weather to be gone for a while.
(Watercolor paper) "Pop of happiness"
(Normal edit) "Cattails galore" I took these photos in front of a house about a mile from my house. I have seen this house a lot and I've always been kind of interested in the cattails because one time I saw a muskrat walking in them. I tried to put the focus on the cattail closest to the camera in this photo because I feel like it is somewhat unusual.
(Paint daubs) "Straw path"
(Normal edit) "Reflection of life" I took these photos in my backyard, (we have a pond) and when I think of landscape my mind goes to an image like this. The reflection was very cool the day that I took it and I think it turned out pretty good looking in the final product. One struggle I had was not getting my reflection in the water because that would've taken away from the image.
(Spatter) "Pond made from dots"
(Normal edit) "Growing" I took this photo in my backyard, as you can see it was of a large pine tree. I like how all of the branches come from the same point that is kind of in the center of the image. One triumph I had was how the sun hit the pines and branches nicely making the photo look amazing.
